MTN — The MAPP Transportation Network provides rides and some other services (e.g., pick up groceries, medicines) when a MAPP member needs this assistance on a short-term basis. There is a MAPP contact person for arranging this transportation.
Informal MAPP Support — It is not unusual for a MAPP member who needs assistance to directly contact another MAPP member who is a friend. Being engaged in MAPP activities together, members develop networks of friends that can be resources for assistance. However, a MAPP member can also make arrangements through the MTN coordinator to get needed transportation help.
